Each year, Auto-Wares Group of Companies selects one outstanding technician from its Certified Service Center Network to attend the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance’s Technician of the Year Competition. Casey O’Sullivan, Shop Foreman at Interstate Auto Care, earned this year’s honor as the Auto-Wares Group of Companies’ Technician of the Year.

Casey O'Sullivan was honored with a prize package including a gift card, a Blackstone grill, and a custom winner plaque. Casey will represent Auto-Wares Group of Companies at the National Alliance Technician of the Year competition held July 7-10, 2025, in Detroit, Michigan – The Motor City. During this competition, the finalists from the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance will take a written test to determine who will take home the title of Auto Value & Bumper to Bumper Technician of the Year.
O’Sullivan earned the Auto-Wares Technician of the Year title by standing out among a strong group of applicants. His extensive training log highlights his commitment to continuous learning and growth in the automotive industry. Casey is an ASE Master Technician, with years of hands-on experience that started when he entered the field at just 18 years old. He stays current with the latest advancements by attending industry events like Tech Expo, making him a leader both in the shop and in his professional development.

The purpose of the Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper Technician of the Year is to honor and award the professional technicians in the automotive aftermarket service and repair industry. The program recognizes the top professional automotive technicians across North America. Nominees were evaluated on technical skill, diagnostic expertise, and training record.

Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper have named Jeff Weller of Auto Fix, LLC in Henning, MN. the 2021 Technician of the Year. Weller achieved the highest score on a custom ASE exam beating out a dozen other U.S. finalists in San Antonio Oct. 8 during the Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper Technician of the Year finalist trip.
Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper have named Mark Calzia of M.C. Tire & Automotive in Moline, Ill. the 2020 Technician of the Year. Calzia achieved the highest score on a custom ASE exam given to U.S. finalists in San Antonio Mar. 13 during the Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper Technician of the Year finalist trip.
